590,000 USD Stolen from the Investigative Committee as Material Evidence

Last night, an unprecedented theft was recorded at the Investigative Committee. From the building of the Committee's Main Department for Economic Crime and Smuggling Investigation, located on Pharmacy Street, 590,000 dollars that were kept as material evidence were stolen. This was reported by "Factinfo" citing its sources.

The fireproof safe where the money was stored was located on the 6th floor. The thief entered the building using a fake document of an investigator. According to media reports, operational bodies have concentrated their efforts to recover the stolen amount as quickly as possible. A criminal case has been initiated at the Investigative Committee.
