Israel Ready to Cease Gaza War Under Certain Conditions, Netanyahu

Israel is prepared to accept a temporary ceasefire in the Gaza Strip as part of a hostage deal, Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu announced during a press conference.

According to him, Israel will be willing to stop the war in Gaza if militants release all hostages they are holding, the enclave is fully demilitarized, and the Hamas movement leaves the Gaza territory.

He added that the Israel Defense Forces will oversee all areas of the Gaza Strip following the completion of Operation Gideon’s Chariots. He stated that Israel needs to prevent a humanitarian crisis in the Palestinian enclave to maintain operational freedom.
