Bodies of Two Citizens Retrieved from Masrik River

On May 21, at 16:02, a call was received at the Crisis Management Center of the Gegharkunik Regional Rescue Department, reporting the discovery of fishing and personal belongings of two citizens engaged in fishing near the bank of the Masrik River, close to the village of Mets Masrik. This was reported by the rescue service of the Ministry of Internal Affairs.

A combat team from the regional rescue department of the Ministry of Internal Affairs was dispatched to the scene. Before the rescuers arrived, local authorities managed to retrieve the body of one of the citizens from the Masrik River. Rescuers conducted search efforts for the other citizen, and 500 meters away, the body of the second citizen was found and removed from the water. Emergency medical technicians confirmed the biological death of both citizens.
