We Are Inclined to Believe He Was Taken: Father of Missing Child
On May 4, the father of 2-year-old Tigran, who went missing in the village of Marmanik in the Kotayk province, Artur Manukyan shared his concerns regarding his son's disappearance in an interview with 'Pativinfo'. He stated that despite the efforts of rescuers searching for Tigran in the Marmanik River and other areas of Armenia, no trace has been found so far.
“They have pulled out a cat, a dog, a lamb, and a calf, but the fact is, the child is not here. I am not ruling out any versions. It’s possible that he was taken. What does 'maybe' mean? Today, we are inclined to believe that he was more likely taken,” the father said.
At the same time, he mentioned that he has no enemies and does not suspect anyone of doing such a thing. Search operations have been carried out in all possible and impossible locations.
“There has probably not been such an incident in the territory of Armenia where search efforts of this scale are carried out and no traces are found,” Tigran's father stated.
He also made a plea to fellow countrymen, stating that they have not initiated any fundraising or opened any bank accounts, emphasizing that there is no need for that. “If necessary, I will personally reach out through any media outlet. Do not trust anyone, do not send money. I have never seen such a vile person. I wouldn’t wish the pain I am experiencing on anyone,” Tigran’s father said.
It is worth mentioning that on May 4, between 10:00 and 11:00, news spread in the Marmanik village of the enlarged community of Tsaghkadzor that 2-year-old Tigran had fallen into the Marmanik River.
