US Withdraws from G20 Summit in South Africa

The United States has decided not to participate in the G20 summit to be held in South Africa due to disagreements with the host country's leadership on various issues. This was announced by US Secretary of State Marco Rubio.

“We have decided not to attend this year’s G20 hosted by South Africa, neither at the level of the foreign minister nor at the presidential level, and this is closely related to the issues that, in our opinion, do not reflect the priorities of this administration,” Rubio stated during Senate hearings.
