The White House Needs to Make a Decision: Rubio
The U.S. administration has not halted weapon supplies to Ukraine, but there is no decision on the formation of new military aid packages. This was stated by U.S. Secretary of State Marco Rubio.
“The program for sending weapons to Kyiv has not been canceled. They continue to receive weapons,” Rubio announced at a Senate Foreign Relations Committee hearing.
He noted that the conflict has no military solution and should end through negotiations. When asked if Washington is willing to request funds from Congress for another package of armaments for Ukraine, the Secretary responded: “That’s another question. The White House needs to make a decision on whether to approach Congress for additional funding or not. But everything that has been approved and allocated by Congress continues to be supplied.”
