Russian President Specifies What the Peace Treaty Memorandum Should Include

Russia's position is clear: the root causes of the crisis must be resolved, Russian President Vladimir Putin stated following a phone conversation with U.S. President Donald Trump. He emphasized that the future peace treaty memorandum with Ukraine should include:

• Principles of Resolution,
• The deadline for signing the peace treaty,
• A clear timeline for ceasefire in line with the implementation of corresponding agreements.

Earlier, it was reported that the phone call between U.S. President Donald Trump and Russian President Vladimir Putin had concluded. The conversation lasted for two hours. Putin described the discussion with Trump as sincere and substantial.

After his conversation with Putin, Trump also made a statement.
