Peskov Comments on Putin-Trump Phone Call

Russian President Vladimir Putin has his secure communication channels for confidential negotiations wherever he may be. This was stated by Dmitry Peskov, the press secretary of the President of Russia, while commenting on the conversation between the Russian President and Donald Trump.

He clarified that the red line between Russia and the USA allows for negotiations on the most sensitive issues. Peskov noted, “Trump’s position is neutral, and he is indeed engaged in resolution matters, while the position of European politicians is openly pro-Ukrainian. Only a party that maintains balance among the conflict sides can truly act as a mediator.”
