Deadly Dangerous Tumor That Must Be Eliminated, Says Iranian Leader

The United States must stop interfering in the political and economic lives of Middle Eastern countries. This opinion was expressed by Iran's Supreme Leader Ayatollah Ali Khamenei.

“President Donald Trump offers a model to Arab countries, according to which, in his own words, they cannot survive for 10 days without Washington's support,” Khamenei commented on Trump’s statements. “And now, in his dealings, behavior, and suggestions, he is imposing the same model, trying to ensure that they cannot exist without the United States. But it is clear that this model is doomed to fail. By the will of the peoples of the Middle East, America must leave and will definitely leave,” he added.

According to Khamenei, “the Zionist regime (referring to Israel) remains a malignant, deadly dangerous tumor in the region that must be eliminated.” The Iranian leader noted that President Donald Trump mistakenly believes he can establish peace in the Middle East through the use of force, but such ambitions from Washington have always led only to the suffering and destabilization of regional countries.

“Some of the statements made during the U.S. president’s visit to the region are completely unworthy of response. They are so low that they bring shame to both the speaker and the American people. Trump has claimed that he intends to use force for peace. He is lying,” Khamenei's remarks were cited by his press service.

“Force can be used for peace and security. That is why, despite the enemies' hatred, we will strengthen our country's power every day. But they have used force to transfer ten-ton bombs to the Israeli regime, so that it can drop them on the heads of children in Gaza, on hospitals, and the homes of peaceful residents in Lebanon and everywhere else it can,” added the leader of the Islamic Republic.
