What Discussions Took Place Between Mirzoyan and Kalas
The Minister of Foreign Affairs of Armenia, Ararat Mirzoyan, met with the Vice President of the European Commission and the EU High Representative for Foreign Affairs and Security Policy, Kaia Kalas. They discussed the vision and prospects for deepening Armenia-EU partnership, as well as the joint efforts aimed at expanding cooperation in specific areas.
Mirzoyan emphasized that the fundamental principles of democracy and peace are at the core of the Armenia-EU partnership, and that it has been possible to achieve tangible results thanks to their united efforts. The Armenian Foreign Minister and the EU Foreign Policy Chief touched upon upcoming high-level engagements and their agenda items.
Mirzoyan and Kalas exchanged views on international and regional developments, stressing the importance of developing strong and cohesive partnerships during the current times of uncertainty. In the context of efforts to establish peace in the South Caucasus, the significance of signing an agreement on peace and inter-state relations between Armenia and Azerbaijan was highlighted.
