Several Countries Have Requested Zelensky

Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky stated that Kyiv has received signals from China and other countries requesting not to strike Russian regions where foreign leaders are expected to arrive on May 9.

“China has asked Ukraine to ensure security in Moscow from May 8 to 10 and to avoid attacks during the victory parade. Ukraine has once again confirmed through its actions that it always does what it promises,” said Zelensky.

Earlier, on May 3, Zelensky mentioned that Ukraine cannot guarantee the safety of representatives from other countries during planned visits for the May 9 parade in Moscow.
