EAEU Agricultural Producers Raise Product Prices
Agricultural producers from the Eurasian Economic Union (EAEU) countries have raised their product prices by 10.5% in March of this year compared to the same month last year, according to the Eurasian Economic Commission.
The price dynamics have remained unchanged since February, with an increase of 2.4% since the beginning of the year. Over three months, prices for crop production have risen by 3.6%, while livestock products increased by 1.4%.
In March, the highest annual inflation was recorded in Kyrgyzstan, at 13.1%. In Russia, prices rose by 12%, in Belarus by 9.7%, and in Armenia by 6.5%. In Kazakhstan, prices decreased by 4.4%.
During the first three months of this year, compared to the same period last year, Russian agricultural producers have increased their product prices by 12.7%, Kyrgyzstan’s by 10.6%, Belarus’s by 10.1%, and Armenia’s by 4.2%. At the same time, a decrease in prices was recorded in Kazakhstan, at 3.7%.
In 2024, EAEU agricultural producers raised their product prices by 6.4%. Specifically, the increase in Russia was 8.4%, in Belarus 4.6%. In Kazakhstan, prices decreased by 1.9%, in Armenia by 1.7%, and in Kyrgyzstan by 0.2%.
