Body of Drowned Citizen Discovered, Reports Ministry of Emergency Situations

On May 13, at 09:49, the crisis management center of the Shirak regional rescue service received a call reporting that a citizen had submerged in the lake called "Smaverdi" in the rural community of Lusaghbyur and had not resurfaced. Assistance from rescuers was required.

A fire-rescue unit from the regional rescue service was dispatched to the scene along with an operational group from the special water rescue unit equipped with a diver.

The diver located the citizen's body and retrieved it to the shore, where the rescuers brought it closer to the vehicle designated for transporting the body.
