Powerful Earthquake Strikes Mexico

A magnitude 5.7 earthquake has been recorded in Mexico. This information has been reported by specialists from the country's National Seismological Service (SSN), according to TASS.
The tremors occurred 28 kilometers southwest of the small town of Acala, where more than 15,000 people live. The epicenter of the earthquake was located at a depth of 269 kilometers. There are currently no reports of casualties or damages from the natural disaster.
Earlier, we reported on a strong earthquake in Chile, which had a magnitude of 5.1. The epicenter was located 18 kilometers southeast of the town of Salamanca, home to over 13,000 residents, with the focus at a depth of 79 kilometers.
