15 cm Long Spoon Removed from Girl's Stomach in Russia

In Moscow, doctors have surgically removed a 15-centimeter long metal spoon from the stomach of a 14-year-old girl. The girl had attempted to extract a piece of apple from her throat using the spoon and accidentally swallowed it.

This information was reported by "RIA Novosti". The girl was then transferred to the surgical department. An abdominal X-ray confirmed the presence of a foreign body in her stomach. The surgery was performed endoscopically and was successful.
