Drugs Found in Chocolate Candy: Correctional Service

On May 2, around 11:30 AM, officers from the security department of the Armavir Correctional Facility of the Ministry of Justice of the Republic of Armenia inspected a parcel received by inmate M.M. via postal delivery. This information was reported by the Correctional Service.

During the inspection, officers discovered greenish substances resembling marijuana among 45 pieces of chocolate candies, weighing a total of 264.94 grams including the candies. Additionally, among 27 candies, white substances that appeared to be drugs were found, weighing a total of 142.95 grams with the candies.

The discovered items have been sent to the investigative department of the Armavir regional investigative unit of the Republic of Armenia.
