Details on Explosion on Saryan Street
On May 1, at 19:31, the National Crisis Management Center received a report about an explosion in a vehicle near 2/2 Saryan Street in Yerevan. There are reported casualties. This information was provided by the Ministry of Emergency Situations of Armenia.
A combat unit from the fire and rescue department of the Yerevan branch of the Ministry of Emergency Situations and police units were dispatched to the scene.
It was determined that the explosion occurred due to a gas cylinder in an 'Opel' brand vehicle. According to preliminary data, two citizens were injured, one of whom received immediate assistance on site, while the other was hospitalized for further medical care.
