Incident on Bus: Driver Dismissed from Job

A video that spread on the internet last night shows the driver of the bus with state registration number 5750, serving route 49, behaving improperly towards a citizen. This incident has been thoroughly investigated by the Yerevan Bus company, and a decision has been made to dismiss the driver. This was reported by Gegham Asatryan, the spokesperson for Yerevan Bus.

Earlier, former member of the Yerevan Council Grigor Yeritsyan posted on Facebook along with the video, stating: “Reporting a crime: The driver of the bus number 49, under the jurisdiction of the Yerevan municipality, subjected a young girl who was boycotting the increase in transportation fees to physical and psychological violence. I urge the police and my colleagues in the council to take action.”
