Death Toll from Explosion in Iran Rises

The number of fatalities from the powerful explosion at the Shahid Rajaee Port in Bandar Abbas, Iran, has reached 36. The number of injured exceeds 1,200, with casualties continuing to increase.

Since this morning in Tehran, over 1,000 people have volunteered to donate blood.

Recall that a massive explosion occurred in Bandar Abbas on April 26, triggered by a fire in a fuel reservoir at the port. The blast shattered windows within a radius of several kilometers.

Furthermore, the governor of Hormozgan province, Mohammad Ashouri, has declared three days of mourning in the region.
