The official representative of the Russian Foreign Ministry, Maria Zakharova, deemed the inquiries from a Western journalist inappropriate, in connection with the fact that U.S. President Donald Trump is raising Russia's position regarding the resolution of the Ukraine issue, according to Ria Novosti.

“Who has blamed Donald Trump? Can you be more specific? Don’t trust the news. What do you want to ask? How to overcome the Ukrainian crisis? That’s your question. I think that should be your question; it’s very unfortunate that you want to discuss other issues,” she said in response to a Western journalist’s question suggesting that Trump has a position in favor of Russia.

According to her, it is very important that the media also works correctly, especially when covering countries at war. This includes focusing on doing accurate work, rather than spreading false information.
