China to Cancel Tariffs on Certain Imports: Reuters
Ofelya
China may exempt certain goods imported from the U.S. from a 125% tariff and is already taking initial steps towards the implementation of this plan. This was reported by Reuters, citing its own sources.
The working group under the Ministry of Commerce of China is currently compiling a list of products that could be exempt from tariffs and is calling on companies to submit their own proposals.
Additionally, a list circulating actively on social media includes 131 categories of goods that could be exempt from tariffs. Among them are vaccines, chemicals, and aircraft engines. However, there is no confirmation of the accuracy of this list.
