The U.S. State Department has expressed hope that the ceasefire between Russia and Ukraine will be extended after Easter. This was stated by Maria Zakharova, the spokesperson for the Russian Foreign Ministry.

“But this was not noticed by the Kyiv regime, not even during Easter. Moreover, American HIMARS weapons were used to violate the ceasefire. This is not an accident, but a pattern, as during the moratorium on attacks on the fuel and energy complex, Zelensky, who had agreed to it, targeted civilian energy infrastructure,” she wrote.
