Pentagon Reduces Number of Troops in Syria

The Pentagon has confirmed that it will reduce the number of military personnel in Syria to less than 1,000 in the coming months. The statement noted that the U.S. will continue to carry out strikes against remaining ISIS terrorists in Syria.

“This deliberate process will decrease the U.S. presence in Syria to less than 1,000 troops in the coming months. The U.S. Central Command will be prepared to continue strikes against the remnants of ISIS in Syria,” the statement reads.
