Russia Returns Almost 1000 Soldiers' Remains to Ukraine
Russia has returned 909 bodies to Ukraine, while receiving 41 in exchange. This was reported by Shamsail Saraliyev, a representative of the parliamentary coordinating group on military operations and a member of the State Duma.
It was noted that the last exchange of remains took place on March 28, during which 43 bodies were returned to Russia, alongside 909 to Ukraine. In February, the Russian side handed over the remains of 757 Ukrainian soldiers and received 45 bodies in return.
Russia and Ukraine have conducted their third exchange of soldiers this year under the "175 for 175" formula.
