Ras Isa Port Destroyed in Yemen; Casualties Confirmed

Julya

U.S. military forces have destroyed the Ras Isa port in Yemen, which is controlled by the Ansar Allah (Houthi) political-military movement. This was reported by the U.S. Central Command, as conveyed by RIA Novosti.

“Today, U.S. forces struck fuel sources that support the Iranian-aligned Houthi terrorist group. These strikes are aimed at depriving the group of illegal revenue, which has been used for over 10 years to finance Houthi terrorist operations in the region,” stated the command’s announcement published on the X social network.

According to Al Massira TV, the U.S. airstrikes on the Ras Isa oil port resulted in the deaths of 33 individuals and left 80 injured. Most of the casualties were port workers.

The U.S. Central Command's document emphasized that the American strikes on the Ras Isa port were not intended to harm the Yemeni people, who rightfully wish to shake off the Houthi yoke and live in peace.
