We Would Like to Do Everything to Ensure the Country Remains Sovereign and Independent: Putin

Russia is determined to support the preservation of Syria's territorial integrity and independence and is ready to provide humanitarian assistance to the country's population. This was announced by Russian President Vladimir Putin.

“We would like to do everything to ensure that Syria remains a sovereign, independent state with territorial integrity. We would like to discuss with you the possibility of providing aid to the Syrian people, including humanitarian assistance,” he said during negotiations with the Emir of Qatar, Tamim Al Thani.

Putin also added, “There are many issues there, including political, security, and purely economic aspects.”
