Former U.S. President Joe Biden has criticized the policies of President Donald Trump for the first time since leaving office. He described the actions of Trump's administration towards the Social Security Administration as catastrophic.

“Look at what has happened now. In just 100 days, this new administration has caused so much damage and destroyed so much. It takes your breath away that this could happen so soon,” Biden told CNN.

Biden never mentioned Donald Trump by name, instead referring to him as “that guy.” The politician also did not directly mention Elon Musk, the head of the Department of Government Efficiency (DOGE), but criticized his actions in the new role. “They are following an old saying known among tech startups: ‘Move fast and break things.’ Well, they are breaking things, they are certainly shooting first and aiming later, and the consequence is unnecessary pain,” Biden said.
