Foreign Nationals Robbed Money, Attempted Sexual Assault

On April 14, a 25-year-old foreign national reported to the police that on April 12, four compatriots illegally entered his home on Minas Avetisyan Street in Yerevan, threatened him with a weapon, stole 100,000 drams, mobile phones, and attacked him with a belt and a metal rod, causing bodily harm. They also attempted to commit sexual assault against his wife.

Officers from the Criminal Police Department of Yerevan, in cooperation with the Criminal Police Department of Shirak Province and regional patrols, identified the perpetrators. They were located in the city of Artik, arrested, and transported by vehicle to the police department in Yerevan, then taken to the detention facility for the arrested individuals. Currently, the circumstances are being clarified during the preliminary investigation.
