What to Do to Obtain a Military Service Exemption: Ministry of Education

The Ministry of Education, Science, Culture and Sports has announced that the deadline for submitting documents to obtain an exemption from mandatory military service for activities in the fields of education, culture, and sports is May 1, 2025.

In accordance with the requirements of the decisions No. 450-N, No. 451-N, and No. 457-N of the Government of Armenia dated April 12, 2018, citizens who have made significant achievements in the fields of science and education, culture, and sports can apply to the Ministry for an exemption from military service call-up from April 1 to May 1, 2025.

The application and the original documents, as well as their copies, that are required in accordance with the aforementioned government decisions must be submitted by the citizen or their representative to the document management department of the Ministry of Education, Science, Culture and Sports or electronically.
