Armenia's Ministry of Defense Issues Statement

The Armenian Ministry of Defense has issued a statement regarding the Azerbaijani Ministry of Defense's claims that Armenian Armed Forces fired upon Azerbaijani positions located in the northeastern section of the border on April 10 at approximately 20:55. The Armenian Ministry of Defense asserts that these claims do not reflect reality.

It is worth recalling that the Office of the Prime Minister of the Republic of Armenia has proposed the establishment of a joint mechanism for investigating incidents of ceasefire violations and/or related information between Armenia and Azerbaijan, to which Azerbaijan has yet to respond.

The Republic of Armenia's Ministry of Defense reiterates its readiness to investigate the facts supporting the Azerbaijani Ministry of Defense's statement, provided they are shared with Armenia.
