What is Turkey's Role in Russia-US Negotiations

The leadership of Ankara does not interfere in the negotiation process between Russia and the United States in Turkey, while hoping that these talks will lead to results. This was stated by the Turkish presidential office in response to a request from RIA Novosti to comment on the negotiations between the delegations of the two countries, which began on Thursday in Istanbul.

It is noteworthy that the Russian-American consultations have started in Istanbul. The talks between Russia and the US are taking place in the building of the Russian General Consulate. The meeting is being held in a closed format, similar to the first phase, and will last for several hours. Issues such as the normalization of embassy operations, the return of seized diplomatic property, and the restoration of direct air communication will be discussed.
