Aliyev Calls on Armenia Not to Waste Time

The President of Azerbaijan, Ilham Aliyev, has called on Armenia not to waste time regarding the signing of a peace agreement. He made this statement during the international conference "On the Road to a New World Order" held in Baku.

“I believe that we should not waste time, because when it comes to the peace treaty, the ball is in Armenia's court,” he said. According to him, if Armenia and Azerbaijan sign a peace treaty, it could signal the start of cooperation.

Aliyev also noted that attempts by third parties to draw dividing lines in the South Caucasus would not succeed.
