Azerbaijan Ready to Take Steps with Armenia, Says Aliyev

Azerbaijan is prepared to begin steps to build trust with Armenia. This was announced by Azerbaijani President Ilham Aliyev, according to TASS.

Aliyev noted two main conditions for signing a peace treaty with Armenia. “To date, the text of the peace treaty has been fully agreed upon and consists of 17 points. Azerbaijan is not proposing any additional conditions here. Our conditions are known to Armenia, they are not new. We have been putting forth these conditions for a long time. However, we have not yet received a serious response from Armenia,” he stated.
