New Tensions Between Azerbaijan and Nakhchivan: Iran Becomes a Strategic Corridor

A new electricity transmission line is set to be constructed through Iranian territory, establishing a connection between Azerbaijan and Nakhchivan. According to Azerbaijani media reports, this initiative was announced during an expanded meeting involving Azerbaijani officials and Iran's Minister of Roads and Urban Development, Farzanah Sadeghi.

It was noted that the new transmission line will not only ensure energy security but will also contribute to the deepening of cooperation between the two countries in the electricity sector.
