Zakhrova: This Will Be Considered a Threat and Will Lead to Conflict
The presence of foreign state military formations in Ukraine will be viewed by Moscow as a threat and will inevitably lead to conflict. This was stated by the official representative of the Russian Foreign Ministry, Maria Zakharova.
“Any foreign military presence in Ukraine, regardless of flags, insignias, or declared mandates, will be regarded by the Russian Federation as a threat to the security of our country,” she said during a press conference.
Zakharova emphasized that this applies to both individual NATO member states and missions of the entire alliance.
She reminded that Vladimir Zelensky's regime has long asked its Western partners to send troops to the conflict zone, highlighting that this would practically mean “the entry of the corresponding countries into conflict by the Kyiv regime.”
