Despite the defeat in Gyumri, analyses conducted within the PSRC have concluded that they did not perform poorly, having gathered about 10,000 more votes compared to the previous elections. This is reported by the newspaper "Hraparak."

"However, the PSRC members, occupied with self-justification, forget that there is a significant difference between the elections of 2021 and 2025, and each year the PSRC's approval rating significantly declines, while dissatisfaction grows. The 36 percent obtained in Gyumri is more attributed to their candidate Sarik Minasiyan rather than the PSRC itself, and if anyone from the old PSRC composition had run, they would not have received that either. This is perhaps understood within the PSRC's elite as well, which is why they have decided to not leave Sarik Minasiyan, who is associated with the PSRC for his biography and has been deprived of his position, without work and to give him a significant role.

There is talk that he may be appointed as the Governor. This is also being done with the hope that this appointment will work in favor of the PSRC ahead of the upcoming national elections and will help them collect votes not only in Gyumri but also in the Shirak region," the newspaper writes.
