EU Approves New Tariffs Against the US
The EU member states have approved new trade tariffs against the United States, which will be implemented starting April 16. The European Union has announced that it will impose €21 billion in tariffs on goods imported from the US.
The European tariffs will range from 10% to 25% on certain American products, including tobacco, motorcycles, poultry, steel, and aluminum. Of the 27 countries, 26 voted in favor of the measures, with only Hungary opposing.
