The Armed Forces of Ukraine are now operating not only in the Kursk region but also in Belgorod. This was announced by Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky.

He confirmed for the first time the presence of Ukrainian military units in that area. “We continue to carry out active operations in border regions, within enemy territory, and that is entirely correct. The war must return to where it came from,” he stated.

Previously, Kyiv had not officially commented on the presence of Ukrainian units in Belgorod region.
