Sudden Drop in Temperature Expected with Snow

In Yerevan, from April 9 to 13, short-term rain is expected, with possible thunderstorms. On April 9 and 10, winds are predicted to intensify, reaching speeds of 13-15 m/s. This information is provided by the Armenian Hydrometeorology and Monitoring State Service.

Throughout the Republic's territory, from April 10 to 13, rain and thunderstorms are expected in several regions, with heavy rainfall possible in some areas on April 9. Nighttime precipitation in mountainous areas is anticipated to fall as snow from April 11 to 13. Winds will be coming from the southwest at speeds of 3-6 m/s. From April 8 to 10, wind intensification is expected in certain regions, with speeds reaching 18-22 m/s.

The air temperature is expected to drop by 8-10 degrees at night and by 6-8 degrees during the day on April 11.
