Current Situation on Armenia's Highways

The Rescue Service reports that the highways in Armenia are mostly passable.

The road from the 'Amberd' high mountain meteorological station to Lake Kari is closed in Aragatsotn province. Drivers are required to use winter tires exclusively.

Regarding Lars, according to information received from the Emergency Situations Department of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Georgia and the Crisis Management Center of the North Ossetia Ministry of Emergency Situations in Russia, the Stepantsminda-Lars highway is open to all types of vehicles.
