“Shame on that country and woe to that people who are fighting against their own history,” said Peskov. The Kremlin spokesperson made this statement while commenting on Latvia's decision to demolish military monuments en masse in the country.
“It is a disgrace for the country to show such disrespect towards the memory of those who saved you from fascism,” he added.
