Protest Rally in Paris
A protest rally is taking place in Paris in support of Marine Le Pen, the leader of the parliamentary faction of the "National Rally" party, who has been barred from forming a government by a court ruling, reports a correspondent from RIA Novosti.
It is noted that on large screens installed near the stage, the message "Youth with Marine" is displayed. According to the organizers of the event, representatives from more than two hundred media outlets have arrived to cover the rally. Le Pen herself arrived at the rally by car, accompanied by security personnel.
The party leader, Jordan Bardella, remarked that the day of Le Pen's conviction will remain a dark day in history. He stated that the court's unjust and scandalous decision, aimed at removing her from the presidential race, poses a threat to democracy and harms millions of patriotic French citizens.
"This decision has violated my people, my country, and my honor. I want everyone to know that I will not give up. I do not hesitate to emphasize the political background of the trial against us. This is not a court ruling, it is a political decision, a hunt for politicians," he said.
