CEC Summarizes Final Results of Elections in Gyumri and Parakar

The Central Election Commission (CEC) has announced that the 14th and 31st Territorial Election Commissions summarized the final results of the municipal elections held on March 30 during their meetings on April 6.

In the extraordinary elections for the Parakar community council, 11,528 voters participated, while the number of eligible voters was 20,967. On the day of the election, the total number of voters listed on the additional list at the polling station was 37. The votes received by the parties and alliances were as follows:

• "CIVIC CONTRACT" PARTY - 3,669 votes - 7 mandates
• "UNITY" ALLIANCE OF PARTIES - 6,508 votes - 12 mandates
• "NATIONAL PROGRESS" PARTY - 900 votes - 3 mandates
• "SUSTAINABILITY" PARTY - 426 votes - 0 mandates

The number of invalid ballots was 23, and there were 6 inaccuracies reported.

In the extraordinary elections for the Gyumri community council, 47,434 voters participated, and the number of eligible voters was 111,236. On the election day, the total number of voters on the additional list at the polling station was 35. The votes received by the parties and alliances were:

• "CIVIC CONTRACT" PARTY - 17,188 votes - 14 mandates
• ARMENIAN COMMUNIST PARTY - 9,727 votes - 8 mandates
• "LIVING LAND" PARTY - 1,695 votes - 0 mandates
• "MOTHER ARMENIA" ALLIANCE OF PARTIES - 2,904 votes - 2 mandates
• ARMENIAN WORKERS' SOCIALIST PARTY - 652 votes - 0 mandates
• "EUROALLIANCE" ALLIANCE OF PARTIES - 2,113 votes - 0 mandates
• "DEMOCRATIC ALTERNATIVE" PARTY - 1,407 votes - 0 mandates
• "OUR CITY" ALLIANCE OF PARTIES - 7,380 votes - 6 mandates
• "MY STRONG COMMUNITY" PARTY - 3,739 votes - 3 mandates

The number of invalid ballots was 607, with a total of 69 inaccuracies reported.
