Leak from Ukraine-US Negotiations: Zelensky Orders Investigation

Zelensky has tasked the Security Service of Ukraine with investigating the leak of information regarding a recent proposal from the US. This information was reported by the Financial Times.

The investigation also pertains to the use of polygraph tests. According to Ukrainian officials, several employees from multiple ministries have passed lie detector tests. However, interviewees have declined to specify how many officials underwent the testing.

The investigation was initiated on March 26, following the disclosure of details regarding a draft agreement by People’s Deputy Zheleznyak, who claimed to have received a copy of the document. During a press conference on March 28, while commenting on the publication, Zelensky described the leak as peculiar and added that he is interested in understanding who is disseminating such information.
