Azerbaijan Demands Apology from Germany Over Artsakh Flag

On March 31, the Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary Ambassador of Germany to Azerbaijan, Ralph Horelm, was summoned to the Ministry of Foreign Affairs. This decision was made in connection with the visit of German President Frank-Walter Steinmeier to Armenia. During his regional visit, Steinmeier made a post on his Instagram story, featuring the flag of Artsakh.

The German Ambassador in Azerbaijan was informed that the German side must publicly apologize for the incident. It was emphasized that this act is unacceptable and that a public apology is required from the German side. It should be noted that the publication has already been removed from Steinmeier's page.
