China Calls on the US to Cancel Unilateral Tariffs

China has called on the United States to cancel unilateral tariffs and resolve disputes through dialogue. This was stated by the Chinese ambassador to Turkey, Cui Xuejun.

The ambassador pointed out that there will be no winners in trade wars. “China firmly opposes this and will take countermeasures to protect its rights and interests. Tariff and trade wars are contrary to historical trends and economic rules, and there will be no winners. Pressure, coercion, or threats are not the right way to build relations with China,” the diplomat said.
