I Can’t Skip the Pub, I Enjoy It: Khandanian

According to ruling party MP Sargis Khandanian, the expression "soft-kurd" made by Yerevan Mayor Tigran Avinyan can be perceived as an insult.

“We need to try to be more careful with our language,” he said.

When asked by a journalist whether he would discuss this matter with Avinyan, Khandanian responded that he would check his schedule, find a suitable time and day, and meet with Avinyan.

The journalist urged Khandanian not to go to the pub but rather attend the meeting with Avinyan.

“No, I can’t skip the pub, because it’s part of my social life from which I also derive pleasure,” Khandanian concluded.
