Dust Levels Exceed Permissible Concentration in Several Armenian Cities

The levels of dust in the atmospheric air of various cities have been reported by the Hydro-Meteorological and Monitoring Center for the period from March 23 to March 29.

In several cities, the concentration of dust has exceeded the permissible limits:

• Gyumri: Dust levels were elevated for almost the entire week.
• Hrazdan: March 23, 27, 28, and 29.
• Ararat: March 24, 27, and 28.
• Vanadzor: Areas adjacent to Tzaturyan Street were affected almost all week; adjacent areas to Vardanants Street on March 23, 26, and 27; and adjacent areas to Heratsi Street on March 26 and 29.
• Alaverdi: The Sanahin plateau and areas adjacent to Gay Street were affected throughout the week; adjacent areas to Sayat Nova Street did not exceed permissible limits; areas adjacent to Debed Street were also within safe limits.
