Google to Introduce AI Tailored for Children
Google is set to release a special version of its artificial intelligence (AI) Gemini services designed for children, according to a report by Android Authority. Media experts have examined the code of the Google app for Android (version 16.12.39) and discovered several lines hinting at this child-friendly AI variant, including a reference to "users-children" in the code.
The journalists speculate that Gemini will allow children to utilize neural network services via their smartphones. Specifically, they will be able to create stories with AI, solve school-related problems, and receive support for development and education.
The source indicates that the Gemini chatbot is already capable of performing various tasks for young users, but the "children's" version will include stricter censorship. Experts believe this chatbot will be regulated to ensure that no user-generated content appears online.
It remains unclear how Google plans to implement Gemini for children. It is presumed that this mode will automatically activate if the connected Google account belongs to a child, the authors concluded.
