Citizen Detained for Insulting Police Officers, Ministry of Internal Affairs Reports

A video has surfaced online showing police officers forcibly removing a driver from their vehicle and laying them on the ground amidst a traffic jam in Yerevan. The Ministry of Internal Affairs has informed the media that, "During state protocol events, when police officers were ensuring the passage of a convoy of vehicles, one of the drivers shouted insults. He was detained by the Community Police’s Central Department. After clarifications, he was released."
